Romanticists in Realistic Art present their paintings at the Homeland All-Russia art exhibition

From the 5th till the 27th February 2008 took place the Homeland All-Russia art exhibition timed for the fiftieth anniversary of the Russian Artists’ Union, held in the Central House of Artists.

The exhibit is a retrospective one. It demonstrates the achievements of Russian artists for the past fifty years. The viewers have a rare chance to see the works of art, which have become classic, from the collections of the Artists’ Union and the International Confederation of Artists’ Unions. They are paintings by Аlexei Samokhvalov, Yuri Pimenov, Alexander Deineka, Georgy Nissky, Arkady PlastovVladimir StozharovSergei Gerasimov,Semyon Chuikov, Viktor Tsyplakov, Nikita Fedosov and Vyacheslav Zabelin.
