Honorary Art Worker of the Russian Federation
Awarded the Stalin Prize twice: in 1949 and 1950

1932 – joined the College of Polygraphy in Moscow as a student of Grigori Shegal
1947 – became a student of the Surikov Art Institute
had his own art workshop
1948 – became a leading teacher of the Surikov Art Institute
1962 – was promoted to be Professor of the Surikov Art Institute

His paintings can be found in
• Tretyakov Gallery (Moscow)
• Russian Museum (St. Petersburg)
• State Historical Museum (Moscow)
• some world major museums.

Personal exhibitions:

Viktor Tsyplakov had his one-man shows in Moscow in 1956 and 1986.
