From the 25th of December 2013 untill the 2nd of February 2014 a solo art exhibition "The Earth and the Sky" by Honorary Artist of Russia Igor Orlov will be taking place at the memorial museum "Gogol House" (Nikitsky Boulevard, 7A, Moscow).

From the 30th of November untill the 14th of December 2013 a solo art exhibition "The world of workroom" by People's artist of Russia Alexei Sukhovetski took place at the Exhibition Centre of the Russian Artists' Union (Pokrovka st. 37, Moscow), dedicated to the Master's 60th birthday.

A decree on conferring the honorary title of "People's Artist of the Russian Federation" to Valery Strakhov for merits in Fine Arts was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

From the 10th of July untill the 4th of August 2013, a solo art exhibition, dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the birth of People's Artist of Russia Michail Abakumov (1948-2010) took place at the Russian Academy of Arts (Prechistenka st.21, Moscow).

On 18th of September 2012, a meeting of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Arts examined the Academy's current acitvities and awarded Aleksey Sukhovetsky the Gold Medal of the Russian Academy of Arts.

From the 31th of October untill the 9th of November 2012, a solo art exhibition by People's Artist of Russia Georgi Leman took place at the Exhibition Centre of the Russian Artists' Union (Pokrovka st. 37, Moscow).

From the 23rd of January untill the 18th of February 2014 the exhibition "The Golden collection of Artists' Union, covering the whole history of soviet art, took place at the Exhibition Centre of the Russian Artists' Union ((Pokrovka st.37, Moscow).

From the 28th of October untill the 9th of November 2013, a solo art exhibition, "The man is the salt of the Earth" by People's Artist of Russia Andrei Tutunov took place at the Exhibition Centre of the Russian Artists' Union (Pokrovka st. 37, Moscow).

From the 5th untill the 21st of November, a solo art exhibition by famous russian artist Alexander Gritsay (1950-1988) took place at the Central House of Artists (10/14 Krumski Val, Moscow).

From the 8th until the 21th of November 2013, a solo art exhibition, "The Offering", by Honorary Artist of Russia Aleksey Zhabsky (1933-2008) took place at the Central House of Artists (10/14 Krumski Val, Moscow).

From the 3rd untill the 12th of April 2013, the art exhibition of russian artists, dedicated to the memory of People's Artist of Russia Vladimir Telin (1941-2012) took place at the Exhibition Centre of the Russian Artists' Union (Pokrovka st. 37, Moscow).
