Awarded:
• Diploma of the Academy of Arts (USSR, 1987)
• Silver medal of the Russian Academy of Arts (1995)
• Alexander Pushkin gold medal of the Creative Unions of Russia (1999)
1961 – finished Moscow secondary art school attached to the Surikov Institute, then Moscow’s Memory of 1905 art school
1967 – graduated from the department of easel painting of the Surikov Art Institute, the class of Professor Viktor Tsyplakov, did a post-graduate course at the same institution
1966 – began to participate in all kind of art shows
